MSC awards operating contract for six T-AGOS and T-AGM ships to Ocean Shipholdings, Inc.

Military Sealift Command has awarded the operating contract for five transportation auxiliary general ocean surveillance (T-AGOS) ships and one transportation auxiliary general missile range instrumentation (T-AGM) ship to Ocean Shipholdings, Inc.

The vessels covered by the operating contract are the USNS Victorious, USNS Able, USNS Effective, USNS Loyal, USNS Impeccable, and USNS Howard O. Lorenzen.

American Maritime Officers currently represents all licensed officers aboard the T-AGOS and T-AGM ships with the incumbent operator and would continue to do so with Ocean Shipholdings operating the vessels.

Work will be performed worldwide, and if all contract options are exercised, the expected completion date would be October 31, 2027.

MSC awards operating contract for six MPF ships to Crowley Government Services, Inc.

Military Sealift Command has awarded the contract for the operation of six Maritime Prepositioning Force ships to Crowley Government Services, Inc.

The ships are the USNS 2nd LT John P. Bobo, USNS SGT William R. Button, USNS 1st LT Baldomero Lopez, USNS 1st LT Jack Lummus, USNS GYSGT Fred W. Stockham, and USNS PFC Dewayne T. Williams.

Crowley is the incumbent operator of the six ships covered by the contract and American Maritime Officers represents all licensed officers aboard these Maritime Prepositioning Force vessels.

Beyond the initial firm period, the operating contract includes four optional one-year periods. If the options are exercised, the contract would extend for five years.
