American Maritime Officers members who attended and completed the first Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Defense Officer (CBRD-O) course at STAR Center in June included Erick Amiscosa, Nickolas Hanby, Jared Hill, Erik Matthews, Brian Purcell, Alex Ramirez and David Steiner. With them are instructors Matthew Everett, Joseph Braun and Patrick Leahy.
CBRD-O is a five-day course that offers real-world scenarios for AMO members. Here, students progress through their required decontamination practical exercise as part of the intense training. The next class will be held November 6-10.
